Detailed Itinerary
Day 1: Tangier – Rabat guided Tour
Our Moroccan driver will meet you in Tangier, whether by ferry or air, and transport you to Rabat, an imperial capital of domes and minarets, soaring terraces, vast streets, and green areas. You pass through Andalusian-Arab Larache on the Atlantic coast.
While in Rabat, a guided city tour visits the Oudaia Kasbah, the Medina, and the 17th-century Andalusian Wall. Continue your journey to the Hassan Tower, the Mausoleum of Mohammed V, and Chella Necropolis, where Roman and Islamic relics tell centuries-old tales. Dinner, night.
Day 2: Rabat – Volubilis – Fez
Following breakfast, go to Meknes to photograph the Bab El Mansour gate. The Harri Souani stables, medieval medina, and royal palace are on the Meknes city tour. Continue to Mouly Idriss. Before visiting Volubilis, relax in this charming town. Volubilis is a stunning UNESCO World Heritage Site. Visit Fes and stay overnight.
Day 3: Fes – Guided tour of the Medina
After breakfast, you will begin our guided tour of the Fes medina, one of the world’s largest walled-in cities. You will explore the narrow streets lined with fresh fruit, mounds of spices, intricately woven Berber carpets, and many other art objects of Morocco. A visit to the King’s Palace, the tanneries, and potters are just a few places you will experience. For lunch, you may choose to eat in a traditional restaurant in the heart of the medina. After lunch, you will continue the tour and return to your hotel for the evening.
Day 4: Fes – Chefchaouen – Tangier
Before reaching the spectacular Rif Mountains, you will depart towards Tangier via the countryside and little settlements. Chefchaouen, a white town in the depression of two mountains called Ech-Chaoua (The Horns), will be your next stop. This charming village has steep narrow alleys with white and indigo limewashed buildings, little squares, elegant fountains, and residences with intricate doors and red tile roofs. Have lunch at a traditional restaurant overlooking the Ech-Chaoua Mountains. Afternoon drop-off in Tangier.
