We booked a 3-day journey with Azdine through Morocco Classic Tours, and it was incredible from start to finish.AccommodationOur stay at the Pueblo Touareg Camp in the Erg Chebbi desert was the highlight. The tent was far beyond our expectations, blending traditional charm with modern comforts. Dinner by a talented Berber chef, followed by songs, dances, and storytelling under the stars, made it unforgettable. The hosts were warm and welcoming, and I’d return in a heartbeat.Our second night at Das Blues Hotel was another excellent choice, with delicious food, cozy rooms, and great service.The JourneyAzdine curated an exciting itinerary packed with stunning deserts, mountains, ancient cities, and hidden gems known mostly to locals. He even made a detour to a fossil workshop when I mentioned my interest, a thoughtful touch that made the trip extra special.TravelThe car was very comfortable, and Azdine’s driving made us feel safe and relaxed. My wife and I spent a part of our 2 week honeymoon in Morocco and I could not have been more satisfied. We spent the week with Azzedine and he was truly amazing. He helped us plan this trip from start to finish and ensured everything we wanted to cover on the trip was done. Driving in Morocco is something I would not recommend, especially coming from Canada or the US - so having Azzedine drive us to each of our destinations was great. He made us feel safe throughout the trip, was charismatic and fun to talk to on our drives. If you don’t go with Azzedine on your trip, you’re not doing it right.Destinations:We visited Marrakesh, the Sahara desert, Fes, and chefchaouen. All destinations were amazing and each had their unique story to offer. However, I enjoyed the desert the most and I would definitely recommend spending AT LEAST two nights here (we stayed one due to time). The Sahara desert was amazing, we went atving, camel riding and stayed in a tent in the desert over night. Again, Azzedine helped us plan this whole experience and I can’t wait to come back and explore other parts of Morocco, with Azzedine as our tour guide.Food:Why visit another country without trying their cuisine? Food in Morocco was amazing and Azzedine was able to show us the local spots that were not only cost efficient but some of the best food we had while our trip.If you are on the fence about visiting Morocco, please jump over and make the trip. It has exceeded every expectation I had and with a knowledgeable and friendly tour guide - you can’t go wrong.

Morocco was the first country we visited as part of our 2 week honeymoon and it truly exceeded both mine and my husband's expectations. Our amazing experience here is a result of Azzedine our tour guide/driver, who planned our trip from start to finish within the 7 days we were here. I was passed along his contact from friends who had travelled to Morocco in 2023 and had nothing but good things to say about their experience, so without hesitation I messaged Azzedine to inquire about planning our trip. I gave him our time frame, budget, and major cities we wanted to see. Within a few days he prepared a custom itinerary for us, making the planning process seamless and stress free. This was a huge relief for us since we were putting a lot of planning ourselves into the second half of our trip in Spain. As I already had some knowledge with the expected costs for the trip, I found our quote to be very reasonable. We spent a total of 6 nights in Morocco starting in Marrakech (2 nights), Boumalne Dades (1 night), Sahara dessert (1 night), Fes (1 night) and ending off in Chefchaouen (1 night) before taking the ferry up to Spain the following day. Although we wish we had an extra day in some places as the trip did involve a lot of travel, we were drawn by the uniqueness of each location we visited.Some highlights:- Sahara desert (sandy oasis). The staff at our luxury tent showed us amazing hospitality. We did a camel ride and quad ride here.- Marrakech (city of immense culture). Highlights include main square, and hot air balloon ride at sunrise.- Boumalne Dades (mountain views all around). Our hotel here was one of the most unique places I’ve ever stayed out called Xaluxa.- Fes (unique city with pretty riads). The journey to Fes was long but breathtaking.- Chefchaouen (city of blue). One of the cutest places we stayed! Beautiful town, so picturesque. Our hotel was our highlight overlooking the city and mountains.Overall we had an amazing trip and experience thanks to Azzedine. I’m not sure how my husband and I would manage coming into a country like this without any guidance and understanding the distinct cultural cues here which made having a tour guide all the more important to us. Throughout the journey he made us feel very safe and we connected so well which was displayed by our continuous jokes and banter during the car rides. We kept saying we wish we had more time to spend in this beautiful country, but are hopeful we will be back in the future. Thank you again Azzedine for making our trip and honeymoon a truly memorable one!

This was a families/couples trip and I am so glad we did this specific tour that included a guide. Azzedine was so great to work with and he speaks perfect English. He took care of all the details, we felt safe, secure and we never worried if we were being fleeced by the local shop owners because he is from Fes and speaks both Berber and Arabic. We are already planning another trip back and this time we will bring our children with us. He made sure we had the best accommodations and of course the Moroccan cuisine was delicious. I personally cant wait to show my children of the amazing colors, sounds and smells of the Medina in Marrakech. They will love riding a camel into the sunset of the Sahara Desert, the beautiful gardens, Palaces, and especially seeing the place where Gladiator was filmed (The Kasbah Ait Ben Haddou). Morocco is a magical place and we had the trip of a lifetime. Azzedine will make sure you come as guests but leave as family. I would give Morocco Classic Tours 10 stars if I could.

My wife & I (🇨🇦/🇨🇳) did the 6 day Morocco Private Tour (Marrakesh-Dades-Merzouga-Fez-Chefchouen-Casablanca) in Dec 2022 with Azdine and will be recommending this trip to all of our friends & family for years to come.Here's why:- Trust & deep respect for Azdine, our tour guide, driver, & patient companion as we drove across (almost) the entire country traversing mountains to deserts to valleys and urban jungles. We felt safe and relaxed, in large part due to his easy-going nature and strong sense of responsibility for our safety. He was always reliable, flexible, and had a get-sh*t-done attitude, which could only be summarized as "competent and chill".- Morocco is an incredibly fascinating & diverse country with growing infrastructure & support for global tourism, especially now in 2022. Coming in, our "Western" conception of Morocco was "exotic", "Marrakesh", and "spices & lamps". This tour opened our eyes to so much more - from the diversity of people and landscapes to witnessing the spectrum of modernization & globalization in a region seeped in so much rich culture & history.- Accommodations & amenities were very clean and comfortable. A highlight was staying 2 nights in traditional tents in the Sahara Desert - with plumbing, full showers, and incredible gastronomic dinners. My wife is very picky about cleanliness, and we're happy to say that all our accommodations passed the test.All this is to say that Morocco is more than ready for tourism and this country should be the top of everyone's bucket list. If you're looking for an authentic, personalized, and human experience of Morocco, we'd highly recommend Morocco Classic Tours. In fact, we're already planning a trip for our parents in the near future!
